Lovely golf course tricky in places and reasonable beer prices.
Great club, great people and excellent course, more challenging than other courses I have played

A collection of 9 Disc Golf baskets. A great place to practice as all of the baskets can be seen from pretty much anywhere. You can make holes up as you go. As an actual course it doesn't really hold together but good place to hone your skills. Grass can get a little long in the summer and you also get quite a few students sunbathing or playing football.

Having decided to take up golf again after an 18 year hiatus, a friend recommended the team at Filton for both advice on equipment and for coaching so I paid them a visit at the start of this summer to talk about returning to the game. Initially on walking into the shop I was a little put off as it was not as 'shiny' as some of the mainstream shops but I was soon put at ease by the friendly and exceptionally knowledgeable staff, and quickly realised they really do know their stuff!! Following some lighthearted banter about my antique clubs Daryl, the club professional, recommended several sets of quality but affordable clubs and I was able to try them out on their video driving range before setting on the set which fit me best. Having played throughout the summer I've also had coaching with Daryl and Tom, both of whom are very patient and have an expert eye to correct my poor form. I've seen my swing improve radically and where as most of my shots used to be sliced right I'm now keeping more of my shots on the fairway and enjoying the game much more. Overall I can't recommend the team at Filton highly enough, thanks guys!!
Very well informed golf pro's, they really know their stuff. My game had never been better.. Great range of goods at affordable prices too.

Sometimes too busy due to selling too much membership. Gym is great. Pool nice but always colder than long Ashton branch. We are often too cold to stay in after 30 mins. Food offering is variable. Depends on which chef is in I think. Hadvsime nice food but other times disappointing The coffee does not taste quite right. I don't know if it's the milk left out all day or the machine itself but it has an inferior taste compared to coffee shop coffee. Overall a nice club when it's not too busy.
Very good instructors avaliable and lots of recreational areas too such as tennis courts and an inoor or outdoor swimming pools.

Had a lovely time here receptionist were really friendly and helpful. All facilities were clean and tidy and smelt really clean to. Pool was smaller than I expected but wasn't a issue I brang my 2 year old along so child friendly to. Had two treatments that were lovely. Cafe service was a bit slow but great cake. All in was a lovely day.
Good facilities including the spa and pool. Food was standard. Parts of the club are looking a little dated

My favourite ever gym! It's run by friendly, helpful, real people – and I never feel intimidated walking in and working out. Everyone here is more sports-focused (not mirror-obsessed), and I've met some lovely people in the classes, which are super fun. I switched to BS7 from another local (less friendly) gym and am so glad I did.
Joined this gym recently. Great value for money. The gym itself is quite a small space, but with lots of features, and the staff are happy to give a tour and talk through any questions you have.

My trip to the swimming baths ended rather unspectacularly today when I went to go on the flume, only to be told it was closed. Naturally I persuaded the life guard into letting me have a go as I'd never been on it before, they said yes go on then. But when I got to the top the water had stopped. All the lifeguards shouted up at me to say you have to come back down the stairs. Well obviously that wasn't an option, noone walks back down the flume stairs. Now I have a pretty red raw back and shoulders as a result of my dry flume ride. Not impressed.
The staff at reception were polite, lifeguards did their job well watching the pool. The cleanliness needs working and the pool Temp was abit cold.

Some staff are unhelpful and inflexible. Others are ok. Phone often engaged. Desk often not manned. Water is a good temperature. Its's clean enough.
Great staff and management, so courteous and helpful, can't wait to go back again!!!

This is a very fun and friendly place to exercise. For myself I am a gym regular. The quality of gym instructors is second to none. They don't come any better than Martin Balcombe. Liliana and Ahmed. It's priceless the teaching and I feel extremely lucky that this place is in Bristol. P..s they don't just teach exercise. The rest of the team at Kingsdown including reception are lovely people too. Well recommended.
5 stars for Rob, who is always wonderfully professional and friendly and always knows what he's doing!!

Ok place. Visited it for a football match for my son and it was all ok the pitch was great for the kids and parking was alright. You had to be careful though as it isn't clearly marked
This is the wrong phone number... at 5th June 2014. It takes you to Golden Hill Sports Ground. Give the guy a break !! Otherwise shopping experience is as you would expect...

Friendly atmosphere. Good tennis courts
This is a great tennis club but sadly I don't use it for that purpose. I use the gym as its on my way to dropping the kids off at school so convenient. Its a basic gym, but they've put in all the equipment you need for a good work out. Its not high tech but it all works. I have sent my kids there for tennis courses during the holidays which were brilliantly run and would recommend highly. My kids hate any sport so I was surprised that they only complained 1 out of 5 days that they didn't want to go - which for me was a huge success!

Sociable bunch of Cricket enthusiasts and players. We play two teams in different leagues with mostly interchangeable team members
Hired the bar area out for my mother's wake and the staff were fantastic and the catering was exceptional. Would recommend even for a quiet drink.
